Grace Thompson (on left) came from Canada to NJ for a visit in 1980. I believe her maiden name is Trainor, which would mean she is the daughter of Margaret Trainor, Grandpa Byron's sister.

Michael Rowan and wife Peggy (on the right) and (once again) cousin Winifred Rowan on the left. WHO IS MICHAEL ROWAN and how is he related to Grandma Ellen Byron? Could HE be a brother to her... or is he a son of one of John Rowan's brothers? Is there another way he can be related?
Some information on cousin Winifred... The picture shown above was one of many pictures supplied by Catherine O'Connell of College Drive in Jersey City in the early 1980's. Catherine was a cousin of the Byron "8" and she wrote on the reverse side of this picture: "Pictured is Michael Rowan and wife Peggy. On left- Winifred Rowan, Aunt Ellen's niece newly arrived from Ireland. She left Jersey City to go to Scranton, Penn. Summer of 1926" Perhaps this branch of the Byron family can be found in Pennsylvania.
